Diana De Moraes is a Figurative artist based in Minnesota.  Her work depicts her subjects in dream-like states in a style she likes to call "whimsical realism".

She acquired formal training in art restoration at Palazzo Spinelli istituto per l'arte e il Restauro. while living in Florence, Italy.

 

Her art is influenced by the classical masters of the Italian Renaissance as well as the vibrant, unexpected markings of modern abstract painting.

She is self-taught in her painting.
